REMEMBER THE STANDARD FIELD PREP GUIDELINES: 1. Keep drag mats off of the grass when dragging
2. When dragging the infield always end at a different spot on the field to avoid dirt build up at one location. 3. LIGHT watering before and after game/practice.
4. HEAVY watering should only be done by DIAMONDS SPORTS Field Maintenance
· Heavy watering= Hard fields
· No watering= Dry fields
· Light watering = Happy fields
5. When applying clay to mounds or batters boxes prep the surface with water.
6. Mounds are made up of 90% clay, DO NOT WATER.
DON'T FORGET...If you are the last game or practice of the night, you are responsible for turning off the lights, stowing bases and other equipment, and locking up the equipment shed. For field maintenance questions please contact Mike Sigler |
