AVLL 2025 Opening Day is almost here! We're thrilled to welcome all our baseball families back to Woodfield for Opening Day Saturday February 22nd! Thank you to our AVLL Board of Directors, Managers, Coaches, Team Parents. Umpires, Scorekeepers, and all other volunteers working hard to prepare for Opening Day. We hope you and your family enjoy the day. Please review the reminders below!
ALL THE FUN begins this Saturday, February 22nd at 9 am
Opening Day Parade & Ceremonies
Begins at 9 am sharp! Scroll to the bottom for Woodfield park overview and parking restrictions that are in place until 11 am. Plan accordingly to get dropped off at Woodfield or arrive early since you will probably need to walk to Woodfield. Players should arrive starting at 8:30 AM and meet behind the Snack Bar between Field 4 and 6 for parade line up.
9 am - Parade Begins
10:15 am - Golf Ball Drop (There's still time to support our main fundraiser event of the season https://www.watkinsweb.com/avll2025
11 am - First games begin at Woodfield

Snack bar will be open! Stop by and enjoy all kinds of snacks and goodies. What kiddo doesn't love our AVLL snack bar?!

The Pizza Store will be serving their delicious Pizza from 10:30am to 12:30pm

Head over to the snack bar area to see all the great AVLL spirit wear we have for the entire family! We have hats, shirts, hoodies, tanks, stickers, blankets, and more. Get ready for the season and show your AVLL spirit!
1st Ever Spirit Wear Swap!
AVLL will be hosting our 1st ever spirit wear swap. If anyone has clean, gently used team spirit wear from past seasons they would like to donate, they can bring it that day to drop off. Only MLB wear, no travel or club wear please.
Teams this season are: Angels, Dodgers, Brewers, Cubs, Yankees, White Sox, Rockies, Padres, Royals, Pirates, Giants, Reds, Orioles, Rays, Diamondbacks, Mariners, Guardians, Blue Jays and A's!
